Field Status Alerts

Field Closing information is available from Bernards Township Parks and Recreation Department.   Bernards Township maintains the soccer fields at War Memorial and Pleasant Valley Park.  The field status will apply to the Bernards Twsp fields, but DO NOT APPLY TO LEE FIELD (TURF) OR VARSITY FIELD. The closing information do not apply to fields on school property.

When the Bernards Township fields are closed, the information will be posted on the Bernards Township Community Calendar and under Upcoming Events on the Bernards Township home page.    Click on the link below to go to the Bernards Township home page.   Information for Bernards Twsp fields may also be posted on the Somerset Hills Soccer Club Website.

You can also sign up to receive email notifications about field closings for Bernards Township fields.   The notifications will only apply to the Bernards Township fields, such as War Memorial and Pleasant Valley Park.   The notifications do not apply to Lee Field or Varsity Field.   To register to receive email alerts, click on the red "Sign Me Up" box in the top corner of the Bernards Twsp website or click on the link below to go to the signup page.   Once there, select "Athletic Field Closing Notices."  For more information about how to register, click here for documentation.

In the event of an alert, you must verify if the game/practice will be moved to another field with your coach/athletic department. DO NOT assume the game/practice is cancelled.

Ridge High School will inform the players of changes to the games/practices during the announcements at the end of the day (approx. 2:30pm).  You should always confirm any alerts with the coaches.
